What Are The New And Future Evolutions In Tactical Gears?

Tactical gears are extending beyond weapons, communications equipments and carrying cases to medical and trauma supplies. Soldiers overseas experience regular threats. As a result, tactical gears are always evolving to meet this need. There are many factors involved in the evolution of tactical gears such as mission-specific adaptability and less significance on uniformity. New or improved tactical equipment goes from an idea to out on the field in a year or less. The development of new tactical gears focuses more on mission-specific adaptability instead of uniformity.
As soldiers are also facing some kind of health issues like back pain or arthritis. Which are becoming more prevalent nowadays. Heavy gears are now creating difficulty for them. For this instance, government is now developing lighter and more powerful tactical gears. Recent studies shows that that protects soldiers also injure them as well.

Let Us Discuss On The Recent Tactical Gears And The Technologies Involved:

·         Ammunition is being developed with similar sets of properties or you can say qualities. Advanced kinetic energy tactical tank round is expected to be more accurate than previous tank ammunition but will not require additional force on behalf of soldiers. The goal behind new or in development tactical gears is being lighter and still powerful. Crucial equipments is given to soldiers on the battlefield and tactical gears for addressing injuries is given army combat support hospitals need to have the appropriate supplies on hand for treating casualties.

·         Enhanced night vision goggles are one of the new pieces of gear developed and put into action. These goggles use thermal detection which allows the wearer to see people and vehicles at night in all weather conditions and during battle.

·         New development in tactical equipments is The Sense Through Wall technology which uses radar waves to sense and find targets through eight inch thick walls. The device is sensitive enough to detect breathing patterns and has a 20 meter reach and uses a red dot sight to get the target.

·         The ground penetrating radar GPR is a detection device for IED’s. The GPR identifies buried mines and explosives. Even if they are metallic or non-metallic ones and is attached to a vehicle or the forward arm of the husky mine detection system as IED’s are a significant threat in Afghanistan. GPR’s are expected to reduce the amount of explosives- related injuries and deaths.

·         Now the second generation improved outer tactical vests are an improvement over the previous body armor system. The main evolution in the second generation IOTV is the efficiency which is increased and another appreciating feature is a plate carrier that allows soldiers to release weight quickly while still keeping their organs protected.

·         Last but not the least the army combat uniform is another tactical equipment that has some evolutions in addition to the implement of the multiCam pattern for the soldiers. ACU’s no longer have crumpling collars and have less Velcro. The trouser pockets now have buttons and the material treated to be fire resistant with insect resistant permethrine.

At the moment, the lighter tactical gear in development is still in sort of testing stages. The army to test HULC in relation to soldier’s need and abilities in various operational environments that how the device affects performance, the amount of energy a soldier uses while operating the device and how he understand to use it.
